Yolanda Marie (Breton) Holter, 73, of New Britain, Connecticut, passed away peacefully in her home on July 7, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New Brunswick, Canada a daughter of the late Hector and Blanche (Chasse) Breton. Yolanda had her loving husband of 52 years, Herbert Holter beside her, giving her strength, making sure she knew he was right beside her no matter what. He always took her to the casino because she loved her gambling. The two of them went on eight cruises together and she traveled with her husband Herbert and his soccer team making her the soccer mom. She is survived by her husband Herbert, her son Herbert F. Holter, III of New Britain, her daughters, Monique Holter-Jagiello and her husband Stanley of Oakville and Claudine Holter of New Britain, who all cherished their mother dearly and was always there for her, getting her scratch tickets and bringing her to bingo at St. Jean the Baptiste Society in New Britain. She also has five brothers Bert Breton of Binghamton, New York, Willy Breton and his wife Holly of Bristol, Connecticut, Norman Breton and his wife Barbara of Enos, Vermont, Joe Breton of Meriden, Connecticut and Rene Breton and his wife Cindy of Connecticut and one sister Ginette McWheter and her husband Kenny of Binghamton, New York. Yolanda loved her seven grandchildren, Jon and Kyle Rouleau, Chantel Grzelak-Delgado, Jenise and Calabrea Holter, Chancie Holter-Reyes and Herbert F. Holter, V, like no other and she always was there for them when they needed her. The grandkids were always around her and loved her so much, like she was their own mother. She always made sure the grandkids had full stomachs and a smile on their face before leaving the house. Everyone said, Yolanda was a one of a kind woman and never gave up. She’s gone now but will always remain in our hearts and we know she’ll be watching over us through our journey because when one journey ends a spiritual one begins. She will always be remembered for her strength and devotion to her family. She was predeceased by her son Herbert Holter, II., her brothers Fran and Andre and her sister Yvonne who were all spiritually beside her through these last precious moments of her life.
