Adeline Simonetti

Adeline was born in the Bronx before becoming a lifelong resident of Rockland County.

In 2006, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, Joseph Charles Simonetti. She is survived by her son Joseph (wife Suzanne), son Gerard, four grandchildren: Joey, Justine (husband Patrick), Talita, Jennifer, and great-granddaughter, Claire and her sister Anna Barbuto Regina.

Anyone who knew Adeline knew she was a devoted wife and mother. Her greatest life passion was quilting, at which, she excelled. When not in her home studio with her sewing machine and fabric blocks, she could be found in her magnificent Dutch farmhouse kitchen, baking and cooking up one of her many delicious recipes.

A visitation for Adeline will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc., 321 S Main Street New City, NY, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi 128 Parrott Road West Nyack, NY. Adeline’s burial will take place after Mass at St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery 36 W. Nyack Road Nanuet, NY where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Joe.
