Ann Porco

Ann Porco, 88, peacefully passed away on November 6, 2025 in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by the love of her children and granddaughter. Ann was born and raised in the Bronx, NY, the daughter of Frank Castaldo and Catherine DiIorio. Ann was a fervent Yankee fan, even heading the Jerry Coleman Fan Club. Ann met her husband Joseph Porco at the White Castle on Allerton Ave, Bronx NY, and would remain together for 46 years of marriage until the passing of Joe in 2004.

Ann bore two children- Joseph of Nanuet, NY, and Robert of Watermill, NY. The family moved to Nanuet in 1973 and spent many loving years together. Ann would always host a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner surrounded by a chaotic but loving family. Ann was a constant presence at Nanuet Little League games and a Nanuet High School Football supporter. She worked at the Holiday Inn in Spring Valley, where her dedication and good humor helped her thrive among fellow employees who became like family to her.

She is survived by her two sons, Joseph and Robert (Rose), grandchildren Joseph (Samantha), Christiana, Michael, Robert, Alessandra, and Anthony, and two great-grandchildren Bryce and Ethan, with one more on the way.

Visitation will be on Tuesday November 11 from 3 PM - 7 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home in New City. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Aedans Church in Pearl River, with Burial to follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Nanuet.
