Beatrice Josephine Mondelli, Of New City, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Wednesday, January 23rd. Known as Bea to those who knew and loved her. Born in “Da Bronx” to Mario & Rose Roca on July 4, 1945. Bea loved and felt fulfilled working with children with special needs at St. Agatha and Jessie Kaplan of Rockland County. What she loved most was spending time with her Fafalina, cooking and doing crafts. Bea loved, music, cooking, politics, and her family. She was a loyal and loving woman who was a force to be reckoned with.
Beatrice was is survived by her 2 loving sons, Mark (Heather), Michael (Tracy), adoring granddaughter Taylor Ann (Fafalina), grandson Trevor, her 96yr old Aunt Judy and lifelong friends, Joan & Angela.
For those who would like to pay their respects, services will be held at Michael J Higgins Funeral in New City NY on Monday & Tuesday, 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00pm and St. Francis of Assisi, West Nyack, NY on Wednesday, at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers please donate to the COPD Foundation.
