David Colesanti of New City, NY, originally from the Bronx 62 years old, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2016. He was born on December 22, 1953 to Mary (Magliano) Colesanti and Louis Colesanti. He graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School and married the love of his life, Camille (Biscoglio) Colesanti in 1980. He was a Steamfitter in Local 638 for 39 years. He was an dedicated Jets and Yankee fan but his greatest joys came from his family. He is survived by his sons Michael (Sandy) and Louis Colesanti. He is also survived by his sister Denise (Robert) Morelli, Brother in law Phil (Christine) Biscoglio, niece Cheryl Morelli, and nephew Craig (Amy) Morelli and great nieces Abby and Kate. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, 10am, at St. Francis of Assisi, 128 Parrot Road, West Nyack NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the United Hospice of Rockland or the American Cancer Society.
