Dolores Price Ziac

Dolores “Del” Price Ziac, 78, of New City, passed away Aug. 6 at the Joe Raso Hospice Residence in New City, N.Y., with her son and daughter by her side. She is predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Martin F. Ziac, and by her parents, Stanley and Antoinette Price. Del was a lover of life, people, and animals, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was very proud of her Polish heritage and sharing the traditions with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Delcy and William Fox, and Martin and Veronica Ziac; her five grandchildren, Catherine Ziac, Julia Ziac, Liam Fox, Madeline Ziac, and Alta Fox; special aunt Jennie Pietryka; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was a member and former president of New City III seniors club, member of St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, Kappa Delta sorority, and graduate of Albany State Teachers College and Binghamton Central High School.

Family will receive visitors on Sunday, August 17th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home, 321 S. Main Street, New City, NY and on Tuesday, August 19th from 9-11am at Laskowski Funeral Home, 367 Prospect Street, Binghamton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 18th 10am at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, 140 Maple Avenue, New City. Burial will be on Tuesday, August 19th at St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Binghamton.
