Francis R. Schaub

Francis (Frank) R. Schaub, age 49, of Atlanta, GA passed away on February 23, 2014 following a courageous battle with cancer. Francis was born in Suffern, NY to Mary Ellen and Raymond Schaub. Survivors include his wife, Julienne B. Sweeney, his mother Mary Ellen Schaub and sisters and brothers Faith (Paul) Custer of Orangeburg, NY, Hope (Kevin) Murphy of Stony Point, NY, William (Santa) Schaub of Riga, Latvia, Raymond (Elizabeth) Schaub of Satellite Beach, FL, Charles (Celeste) Schaub of Blauvelt, NY, Mary Ellen (David) Baker of State College, PA and Christopher (Deborah) Schaub of Mahwah, NJ; nieces and nephews Christian and Angela Custer, Kerri (Daniel Hayden)and Devin Murphy, William Schaub, Raymond and Amelia Schaub, Charles, Jr., Bryan and Kevin Schaub, Tirzah and Harry Baker, and Krisanne, Hannah and Stephen Schaub.

Frank was a graduate of Clarkstown South HS, Fredonia, & LIU. In addition to being a devoted partner to his loving wife, he was an avid golfer and always lived life to the fullest. Adored for being a sweet, generous and fun loving person, he will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Family will receive visitors on Friday, February 28 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home, New City, NY. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday March 1, 2014 at 11:45am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, W. Nyack, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
