Francis (Frank) S. Trongone of New City, NY passed away peacefully on November 15, 2014 at the age of 80. Frank was born in the Bronx on October 11, 1934. He is survived by his loving family: wife Lena Trongone; daughters Susan Trongone-Kurz and Christa Pellicciotta; three grandchildren whom he adored, Prima, Ciera and Michael Francis; and 2 sons-in-law, Michael Pellicciotta and Eric Kurz. Frank was a USDA Inspector, an active member as Treasurer of the Italian American Scholarship Fund and his greatest joy was his family and golf. He will be missed and fondly remembered by all.Family will receive visitors at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY on Wednesday from 4-9pm. Mass of Christian burial will take place Thursday 10am at St. Augustine Church. Interment will follow at Germonds Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you place donations in his honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
