Frank was raised in the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx and enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of 18. He very proudly served his country during World War II as a "Sea-Bee". After the war, he became a steamfitter with NYC Local 638 and worked many years in the construction industry.
He is survived by his "best friend" of sixty-six years, his wife, Midge. He is also survived by his children and their spouses, Frank and Camille, Kevin and Brenda, Maura and Tom, Chris and Donna, Nancy and Joe, and his fourteen grandchildren, Desiree, Kieran, Brian, Shanti, Shannon, Meaghan, Kyle, Molly, Brenna, Colin, Kylie, Conor, Meara, Keir and two great-grandchildren, Xavier and Andrew.
Arrangements were made at Higgins Funeral Home in New City. The wake will be on Tuesday, May 17th from 3:00pm to 7:00pm and a funeral mass will be held at St. Augustine's in New City on May 18th at 11:00am. Burial to follow at the Veteran's Cemetery.
