Frantz Fleury

Born on September 18, 1956, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He lived in Carrefour Haiti, before migrating to the United States where he settled in Rockland County, New York. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Pace University, and worked as a System Analyst for many years until his illness. He was a founding member of the Friends of Carrefour, a foundation that set the pace for improving education for the children of "L'Ecole de La Joie", Carrefour, Haiti, with the goal to create a computer lab, a public library, cafeteria, art and music classes, after school and scholarship programs.

Survivors include his longtime wife of 30 years, Chantal, his son Philippe and family, daughter Christine, grand-children, Na’zyah, Nelija, Jalen, his mother, Christine Depestre, who preceded him in death, his father, Gerard Jacques Fleury, his siblings Kettline and family, Florence and family, Manasse and family, Gerard Emmanuel and family, Samirah and family, Gladys Saint-Louis and family, Linda Salomon and family, Marie Lucienne, Naomie and family, Maudeline and family, uncles and aunts, nephews and nieces. To the families: Fleury, Salomon, Depestre, Ambroise, Cambry, Deslouches, Lafontant, Mathieu, Sergiles-Diaquoi, Renauld, Jean, Jean-Baptiste, Dole, Sanon, Rousseau, Francis, Lespinasse, Jolicoeur, Lessage, Mede, Dambreville, Benoit, Weisz, Roc, Pointdujour, Basquiat and all family members. Viewing will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013, between the hours of 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Higgins Funeral Homes, 321 South Main street, New City, New York, 10956. The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013, at 9:30am at St. Joseph Church, 245 N. Main Street, Spring Valley, New York, 10977. The repose will be held immediately after St. Anthony cemetery, 34 West Nyack Rd, Nanuet, New York
