James J. Erardy, Sr. "Boy", passed away on July 10, 2011. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 7, 1927 to Louis and Catherine Erardy. James has been a New City resident for 17 years, prior Richmond Hill, NY. He proudly served his country in the Army during WWII. James loved his grandchildren, the Mets, and his country. He is predeceased by his loving wife Adeline and his cherished daughter Noreen. James is survived by his two sons James Jr. and his wife Cookie of New City, and William and his wife Rosie of Woodside, NY. He will be missed dearly by his four grandchildren Amanda, James III, Alyson and Michael. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Higgins FS, New City. A mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday 11am at St. Augustine's Church, New City. Burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Rockland Lake. Donations can be made in his memory to the United Hospice of Rockland, 11 Stokum Lane, New City NY 10956.
