Jeffrey Michael Tveit

Jeffrey Michael Tveit passed away on April 19, 2015. He was born in Englewood Hospital on October 20, 1989. Jeffrey is survived by his loving parents, Marie and Arthur Tveit, his sister Ashley and her fiancé Anthony, step-brother Bill, his maternal grandparents Theresa and Michael Lupo, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, especially his dear friend, Kelly. Jeffrey was a graduate of Clarkstown South High School in 2007 and went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Purchase College. He loved all sports, was an avid Jets fan and enjoyed being a season ticket holder. Jeffrey will be remembered for his baseball, golfing, fishing, basketball, bowling, puzzle making, jokes, love for the ocean and of course blackjack. Jeffrey was a loving, genuine young man who always brought a smile to everyone's face. He had the talent of lighting up a room, and even during the most serious times Jeffrey was always able to bring his family and friends to tears of laughter. Visiting services will be held on Thursday, April 23, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Higgins Funeral Home, 321 South Main Street, New City, NY. A service will be held at Higgins Funeral Home on Friday, April 24 at 11am followed by burial at Germonds Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 39 Germonds Road, New City, NY.
