John M. Coyle

John M. Coyle of New City, NY passed away peacefully on March 2, 2012. He was 82 years old. John was the only child born on March 11, 1929 in the Bronx, NY to John and Anna (Kelly) Coyle. He was raised in the Bronx and was employed by Metro North for many years until his retirement. He is predeceased by the love of his life, Margaret Patricia, who passed away this past year on his birthday. John is survived by his son John (Diane), James and Patricia (John); his 3 grand children Dylan, Devin and Kyle; his brother-in-law Patrick (Sue), nephew John (Diane) and many more niece and nephews that brought love and laughter into his life. John was predeceased by three children Caroline, Robert and Daniel. John was very blessed to have great friends like Tommy O'Conner (Terry), Ted Trachner (Barbara) and Hank Sirakowsky. Your love gave him great strength in his final months. Family was the center of his life. John enhanced the lives of all his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. . Family may receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, 10am, St. Augustine's Church, New City, NY, followed by interment at Gethsemane Cemetery, Rockland Lake, Congers, NY.
