Born in Manhattan in November of 1950, John was a Rockland Resident since 1961. In 1969 John graduated from Spring Valley High School. He was later employed by American Tack and Hardware Company in Monsey until 2002.
John was predeceased by his loving parents John and Carol and his sister Patricia. He is survived by his caring sister Laura ( John Grznar) of Valley Cottage, NY, brother Michael Healy of Spring Valley, NY. He is also survived by his Niece Dawn McKee (Terrance) and 2 grandnieces, Taylor and Riley.
Visiting hours will be at held on Tuesday 10/17 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Michael J Higgins Funeral Home, 321 South Main St. New City, NY, 10956. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine Church on Wednesday, 10/18 at 10am. Burial will follow at Brick Church Cemetery, located on Brick Church Rd. in New Hempstead, NY
