John Macrino

John was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. Born in NY, NY to John and Anne Macrino on September 22, 1968. John graduated from Spring Valley, HS. He was employed in the Town of Clarkstown as a Sr. Store Keeper. He had a passion for sports, especially the NY Yankees and Dallas Cowboys, and for cars. There was nothing he couldn't fix and was always there to lend his family and friends a helping hand.

He is survived by his wife Theresa (Marshall) Macrino, beloved daughter, Alyssa, his "Daddy's girl" who shared an unbreakable bond with him, his mother and father in law, Linda and Richard Marshall, Brother in law, Richie Marshall, sister Mary Lou, Brother in law Deke, nephews John and Will and niece Hope Rothfuss, friends Karen and Gerard Genua, nephew Andrew Genua and his favorite partner in crime and side kick, nephew Eric Genua.

John was predeceased by his parents, John and Anne Macrino, his cherished son Dylan Macrino and nephew Ryan Rothfuss.

A visitation for John will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc., 321 South Main Street, New City, NY 10956. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 112 N Main St, Pearl River, NY 10965. An entombment will occur Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Garden of Memories, 300 Soldier Hill Rd, Township of Washington, NJ 07676.
