She is survived by her son and daughter in-law (John and Anne Rechis) and her daughter (Lisa Nardi). She is also survived by her granddaughter (Alyssa Nardi). She was predeceased in death by her loving husband of 58 years, George Rechis. She cherished her time spent with family and friends who she loved very much. Joyce was born in Brooklyn, NY to Francis and Sarah Winters on December 13, 1937. Joyce married her High School sweetheart George) in 1959. Joyce was the backbone of the family as she supported her husband’s career and raised two children. They enjoyed traveling and fine dining with friends and family.
A funeral service will be held Friday November 4 at 10 AM at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home at 321 S.Main Street in New City followed by a burial in Fred Loescher Veteran's Cemetery in Spring Valley, NY.
