Larry Reynolds

Larry (Lawrence Edward) Reynolds, of Pomona NY, formerly of New City, NY died on May 31, 2018 at the age of 53. Larry was born on March 29, 1965, in Nyack, NY to Patricia (Pat) and Joseph (Joe) Reynolds also from New City. Larry was predeceased by his parents Pat and Joe, his brother Greg, and an infant brother, Brian. Larry is survived by his two sons Patrick and Erik of Valley Cottage, NY, and his two remaining brothers, John and Mary Beth of Suffolk, VA and Joseph (Jay) and Diane of Congers, NY. Larry also had nieces and nephews whom he loved deeply; Joseph, Christopher, Matthew, Jennifer, Geralyn, Gregory, Richie, Alexandra and Coryanne. In addition, Larry is survived by his Aunt Helen Ball of Florida and a multitude of cousins and their families who loved him dearly. Larry is also survived by his long- time girlfriend, Nancy Munoz, who cared for him very deeply. He had many lifelong friends who gave him great support and comfort in his life. Despite being afflicted most of his life with Multiple Sclerosis, Larry was always positive and upbeat. When he could no longer be the masterful chef he was, he worked very hard to achieve a Master’s degree in Psychology and used his own life experiences to help others in need through social work, volunteering and leading a support group for others affected by MS. Family will receive visitors on Sunday, June 3rd from 3-8 pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service, New City. A mass of Catholic Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 4th, 10 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, West Nyack.
