Louise Maria Conte has become one of God's angels on January 1, 2012. She was born in the Bronx on January 27, 1935, Louise was a resident of New City for 25 years then moved to Florida. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Mario Conte; three sons, Frank Izzo, Vincent Izzo, Jerry Conte and one daughter, Josephine (Conte) Lau. She also left behind 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday, 2-4 and 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home, 321 South Main St, New City, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi in West Nyack, NY, on Saturday at 10:15 am. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Louise's name to St. Judes Children Hospital.
