Margaret F. Curry

Margaret was born on the West Side of Manhattan on Christmas Day in 1926. After a year-long courtship, Margaret married Dennis Curry in 1954. They were happily married for 58 years until the day of her passing. They resided in the same house in New City, New York for 47 years growing a strong attachment to their neighbors that would last a lifetime. While in New City, Margaret gave birth to four boys: Dennis, Kevin, Timothy, and Raymond. Later on in life, Margaret would eventually have 10 grandchildren, all of whom loved her more than she would ever know.

Margaret embraced life like few others. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a caring friend. She was a woman of integrity, honesty, and compassion who always thought of others before herself. Margaret will be deeply missed for it was seldom she didn't leave a lasting impression on all those who met her.

Family will receive visitors on Monday from 2-5pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc. Funeral mass on Tuesday at 10am at St. Augustine’s Church. Interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery.
