Born on February 9, 1924, Margaret was the youngest of seven children born to Virgilio and Margaret Coscia in Brooklyn, NY.
On September 24, 1949 Margaret married her love, Robert, and together they made homes in Brooklyn and, later, in Pearl River, NY for their family of five children, all of whom survive them: William, Kathryn, Marguerite, Marie, and Patricia. Margaret also leaves nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Margaret’s family expresses grateful thanks to the staff and friends at her home at Tappan Zee Manor in Nyack, NY for their gracious support.
Family members will receive friends at the Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with burial taking place afterwards at the Frederick Loescher Veterans Cemetery in Spring Valley, NY.
