Maria A. Scarano

She is survived by her two sons Victor & David (Kimberly). She is also survived by her six grandchildren (Ryan, Morgan, Dylan, Brandon, Aedan and Sienna. Maria was predeceased in death by her loving husband of 31 years, David A. Scarano, her brother, Frank LaBianca and her sister, Angela Hampson.

Maria was born and raised in the Throggs Neck portion of the Bronx, NY where she always shared very fond memories of her childhood living near the water. In 1972, her and her husband, David, moved to Rockland County to raise their family where they continued to make fond memories.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 4-8pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home at 321 South Main Street, New City, NY. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 10am at St. Aedan's Church, 23 Reld Drive, Pearl River, NY followed by a burial at St. Antony's Catholic Cemetery at 36 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made to Joe Raso Hospice Residence (link below), who took excellent care of her in her final days.
