Mary Bridget Moran, resident of Bardonia since the early 1960’s, passed away on March 18th at the age of 87 with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, James, (FDNY retired), daughter Gayle Renella and husband Henry, and son Michael and wife Johannah. Mary’s eldest son James, who she has missed so dearly passed away in 2000.
Mary’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, Christine and Jacqueline Renella and Breanna and Sean Moran.
Mary had 6 siblings growing up in the Bronx, remaining close throughout the years.
She made the best stew, mashed potatoes and Irish soda bread, and loved decorating her home and entertaining friends and family.
Due to the restrictions in place, there will be no public services.
