Matthew Edward Sancimino

June 14, 1995-December 2, 2014

On December 2, 2014, Matthew Sancimino, age 19, passed away as a result of a tragic accident. Matthew was one of the best people in the world and was loved by everyone who knew him. Matt graduated from North Rockland HS in 2013, in the top ten percent of his graduating class. He was currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science.

A sweet, kind and gentle man who loved his family beyond measure. Matthew gave us enough joy to last us two lifetimes. Matthew was known for his quick wit and sense of humor. He loved to make people laugh. He loved listening to music, playing computer games and hanging out with his friends. He loved his car and his dog Buddy. To know Matthew was to love him, and to love him was our honor and blessing. Our lives have been altered forever and we will spend each day remembering our sweet, amazing boy.

A loving son and devoted brother, Matthew was without equal. He is survived by his loving parents, Mary and Danny Sancimino; his sister Christina; his grandparents Sal and Margie Sancimino; his aunts, and of course, his many, many friends. Matthew, we will miss you immensely. You will remain in our hearts forever. You will never be forgotten. No words can truly express our sorrow. Love you forever.

Family will receive visitors on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service In, New City. Mass of Christian burial will take place Tuesday 10am at Immaculate Conception Church with burial to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
