Maye L. Johnson, 95, of Red Bank, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday August 30, 2023, at Sunrise Senior Living, New City NY. She is survived by her five grandchildren (Edwin Keith Jr., Lauren, Miles, Taishaun and Zachary) and ten great grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Richard L. Johnson Sr. and two sons Richard L. Johnson Jr. and Edwin Keith Johnson Sr.
She cherished her time with family and friends. Especially, she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren who all have made her very proud.
A viewing will be held Thursday September 21 from 5 until 9 p.m. at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc., 321 South Main Street, New City NY 10956. Services for Mrs. Johnson will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday September 22 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 26 Sunset Ave, Red Bank NJ 07701. Entombment will be held at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, US Highway 1 North, Woodbridge NJ 08830.
