Robert Roy Champeau, Jr., 68 of New City, NY, passed away in his home with his family and his friends b his side, after a long illness. Robert was a lifelong resident of Rockland County. He is survived by his loving wife, Beth, and his children, Rober III, Tabitha, Brielle, and Valerie. A graduate of Clarkstown High School, he served four years in the United States Marine Corps. Bob was an influential member of the IBEW, Local 363 for over 40 years. In addition, he was a highly respected businessman, successful in all he did. Above all, Bob was devoted to his family and friends, and his loss is a grievous one. His wake will be held at Higgins Funeral Home, 321 South Main Street, New City, NY on Wednesday, October 13th and Thursday, October 14, 2-4 & 7-9. A memorial service will be held at Higgins on Friday, October 15th, at 10 am. Donations in his honor may be made to the "Dr. James F. Holland Research Fund" c/o Mt.
