Robert R. McCall Jr. of Vermont, formerly New City, NY, passed away on June 28, 2012. He graduated from Clarkstown High School in 1959 and from Clarkson College of Technology. He worked in the chemical engineering field until 1980 when he joined the family business. During his year with McCall Abstract he utilized computer technology to advance the company’s ability to analyze real property records. Upon retirement in 2007 he moved to Vermont. Bob is survived by his mother Almira I. McCall, his sister Linda G. McCall of New City, his brother Jeffrey L. McCall and sister-in-law Corinne McCall of Nyack; his nephews and nieces, Justin L. Sweet and Olga Sweet and Jason C. Sweet and Colleen Sweet of New City, and Jeffrey L. McCall Jr. of Nyack; his grand nephews and nieces, Lauren, Erin, Justin, Matthew, Ksenia, Kathleen, Kiera, Andrew, and Alexander Sweet, all of New City, and his cousins Almira and Mitch Nyenhouse of Califon, New Jersey. Family will receive friends today, July 1st, 2012 at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Interment will take place on Monday, July 2nd, 2012 at 11am at Brick Church Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY.
