Rosemarie A. Renza passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on January 8, 2014. She was 85 years old. Rosemarie was born in the Bronx, NY on November 16, 1928 to Nicholas and Lucille (Amarosa) Iarossi. She worked as a school aide and was PTA President for the Clarkstown Central School District for many years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and most importantly, caring for her family. She is survived by her husband, Richard; children, Bobby, Michael, and Laura; sister, Eleanor; grandchildren, Ryan, Amy, Heather, Megan, Melissa, Amanda, Michael, Anthony and Stacy; and great grandchildren, Daniel, Nicholas, Jayden, Jayla. She will be missed by all who knew her. Family will receive friends today, Friday, January 10th, 2014, from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 11th, 11:15am, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, West Nyack, followed by interment at Germonds Cemetery.
