Salvatore V. LiPuma

Salvatore Vincent LiPuma of Valley Cottage, NY, passed away on March 16th, 2022 at the age of 93, surrounded by his loved ones. A New Year's Eve baby born to Vincent and Mary LiPuma on December 31st, 1928, he was the last surviving member of his family, predeceased by his brother, Richard and his sister, May. On July 6th, 1952, he married the love of his life, Vera, and spent the next 70 years devoted to her.

He spent most of his career as a partner at a New York Based design firm- Coleman, LiPuma, Segal & Morrill, responsible for creating iconic package designs. But his heart was always with his paintings, leaving behind a huge body of work in his art studio in his home.

Passionate about food and wine, he loved to cook, dine out and watch the food channel. An ardent fan of Frank Sinatra, he spent his entire life listening to and loving his music, passing that passion on to his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Vera, his two daughters and his grandchildren who he loved more than life itself. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Family will receive friends on Monday, March 21st from 4-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd at 10 AM at St. Paul's church in Congers, followed by interment at Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Rd., Airmont, NY.
