Sheila Marin

Sheila Marin, New City, New York, passed away on March 10, 2025, in Westchester at the age of 64. Born on September 11, 1960 in Englewood, New Jersey, Sheila brought warmth and joy to those around her throughout her life. Sheila had a big personality and a wonderful sense of humor that could light up any room. She found great joy in gardening every spring, taking immense pride in nurturing her plants. When summer arrived, she delighted in showing off her thriving garden-especially her beloved tomatoes and cucumbers. The summer months were particularly special to Sheila; she cherished spending time under her gazebo, surrounded by friends and family. This was truly her happy place. 

Sheila was survived by her loving siblings: Rosemary Codi and her husband Rob Codi, James Marin, Matt Marin, Maureen Marin Moschetti, and Christopher Marin. She was also a devoted aunt to Christen Codi Radici, Bridget Moschetti, Nicholas Codi, Rebecca Moschetti, Amanda Marin and Hadley Marin. Her love extended to the next generation as well - her grand-nieces and grand-nephews: Alexander Radici, Madison Radici, Noah Moschetti, and Charlotte Codi. Sheila was also survived by Kevin McDonald, her special friend and companion. She was predeceased by her parents, Richard A. Marin and Maryjane Marin; her grandparents Mary Fennell an Harry J. Fennell; and her aunts Irene Mungaven and Margaret Dunleavey. Sheila also shared a deep bond with her beloved dog Roxy, who preceded her in passing.

A memorial visitation for Sheila will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc., 321 South Main Street, New City, NY 10956, followed by a funeral service from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
