Sr. Patricia Niblock

Born in New York City on November 25, 1950, Sister Pat was the daughter of Walter and Theresa Weber Niblock. She entered the Dominican Congregation of Our Lady of the Rosary in Sparkill on August 30, 1968, and received the name Sister Marita Patrice. Sister Pat professed her first vows in 1971 and final vows in 1977.

Sister Pat earned a BA in Education from St. Thomas Aquinas College, New York, in 1973, and an MS in Education in Social Studies from William Paterson College, New Jersey, in 1978.

Sister Pat began her ministry of education at Sacred Heart School in Suffern, NY, and served there from 1973 to 1980. She taught at St. Anthony School in Nanuet, NY, from 1980 to 1996. In 1996, Sister Pat joined the Office of Financial Services, Dominican Convent, Sparkill, NY, and served in various roles, including Payroll Manager and Vehicle and Income Tax Manager, until 2025. She was beloved by the staff of the Finance Office and the employees of the Dominican Convent.

Sister Pat was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Theresa Weber Niblock, and her brother John. She is survived by her cousins, Bill and Nancy Weber, her friend Sister Meg Sweeney, the Dominican Sisters, Associates, and many loving friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel, Sparkill, NY on Tuesday, January 20 at 11:00AM. Visitation is Tuesday, January 20, 2026 from 9:30 to 10:30AM at Dominican Convent, 175 Route 340, Sparkill, NY. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.
