"Walter Charles, age 85, of New City, New York, passed away on December 14, 2025. Born on February 27, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York, he was a devoted husband to Maryann and loving father to Kim and Andrew.
Dad was hard-working and dedicated. He spent over 60 years working in the construction industry, where he was known for his knowledge of concrete materials. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions.
Though Dad may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He was a man of generosity, and left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his children, and grandchildren, as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
We find comfort in knowing that Dad’s legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever."
