Sara, John and Family, we are so very sorry for the loss of your precious son Cristian. Our greatest memories of Cristian are when we saw him play baseball when he and Tim were on the same team. It was a very fun season of baseball. And I enjoyed visiting with Sara at the games and getting to know you better. You have a beautiful family. I remember those  days driving up to the Schmidt house to pick up Dominick (and a few years later, Austin). Cristian and Tyler would be in the backyard playing catch with him. Cristian was closer in age but still definitely a “big kid”. He couldn’t have been kinder. He was always patient and generous with his time. And our boys idolized him. What a class act. I can’t think of anyone I’d rather my sons look up to. 

We are so very sorry for your loss.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time.   It is a very beautiful tribute of Cristian.  

So very, very sorry for your loss. Keep your memories close, as it is those very precious memories that will carry you through the difficult days. Cristian was one of the first couple of friends I made when I started Kindergarten at Riverview elementary school. My favorite memory was his long hair phase. That had to have been one of the funniest periods of my life thanks to him. We weren’t as close but my heart is still heavy because you never realize how much someone who you grew up with from afar really means to you. Rest In Paradise Cristian.

Cristian was one of my closest friends in high school when he was in one of my classes with me I would always say hi to him you will be missed rest in peace buddy he was the best football player out there for cphs you always will be 

I don’t remember a time without the Schmidt family in my life. When I was younger, our parents would have poker nights and all of us kids would go downstairs. 
We used to rough house, play games, shoot each other with nerf guns, shoot the tv with nerf guns, or pretty much anything that we could do that was fun and a little risky to be done indoors.
Whatever we did, Cristian was there and always made us laugh and have a good time.
I’ll also always remember that long hair he used to have. 

I am sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort help you to endure this difficult time. Losing someone so special is never easy. Just know our Creator is aware of your pain and he promises to help.            Philippians 4:6,7

As my advisee for four years, I remember Cristian's awesome smile, willing nature, and immense kindness! He had amazing insightfulness about people and situations. When students were asked to do "boring" activities in advisement, Cristian would make eye contact with me, grin, and begin. Soon his peers were doing the same with little complaint. His understated leadership was wonderfully effective.  I am blessed to have many sweet memories!
