Age 84, of Brooklyn Center, passed away on October 5, 2014.
Preceded in death by his mother, Cathrine.
Survived by his wife, Lavonne; children, Thomas (LeeAnn) Briggs, Tim Briggs, Brenda (Bart) Schultz, and Beth (Terry) Heimer; grandchildren, Bryan (Michele), Amy (Nate), Michael, Michael, Joseph, Derrick, and Jonathan; great-grandchildren, Owen, Eli, and Emmett; and many family and friends.
Gene was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and was an avid fisherman.
