Janet Marie Schenk

She was preceded in death by parents, Stanley and Helen Rzeszutek; and daughter, Bonnie Schenk.

Janet is survived by children, Kathy (Duane) Holthaus, Janey Schenk; grandchildren, Keith Kiley, Jasmine Snell; sister, Mary Helen (Ron) Garey; nephews, Sean (Wendy) Garey, Joseph Garey; great-nephews, Sean Aaron, Ryan; great-niece, Kaylee; and dear friend John; and many family and friends.

Janet grew up in Northeast Minneapolis where she went to St. Charles Borromeo School. She was very social with lots of friends and made it a point to include everyone. In Janet's earlier years, she fell in love with Sanibel Island, Florida, then made it a family vacation spot for years to come. She recently started traveling the upper midwest with some of her favorite spots being Door County and Duluth. Janet touched many lives and will be dearly missed.

Join us for a funeral mass at St Alphonsus Catholic Church, 7025 Halifax Ave N, Brooklyn Center, MN, on Thursday November 20th with visitation at 10 am and service at 11 am. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery.
