Myroslaw was born on September 30, 1927 in Kozova, Ukraine. He immigrated to the United States in 1950.
Survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Maria; daughters, Daria, Alexandra (Eugene) Konarsky; sons, Adrian (Pam), Markian (Amy); grandchildren, Christina Konarsky, Victoria Stec, Christian Stec; nieces, Lida Sydor and family, Oksana Stec and family, Audie Picho and family, Jodie Driscoll and family; sister-in-law, Patti Picho; Myroslaw is also survived by other family in the US, Canada and Ukraine.
Myroslaw worked briefly at Wabash Screen Door Company and retired as Mapping Supervisor from Northern States Power Company after 40 years. In retirement he worked part-time in sales at Montgomery Ward and Dayton’s/Marshall Field/Macy’s. He was a devoted member of St. Constantine Ukrainian Catholic Church where he was a member of the Choir and Men’s Club. He was also a long-time member of the Ukrainian Scouting organization –Plast.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 29th from 9 am until 10 am, Mass at 10 am followed by Panakhyda, all at St. Constantine Ukrainian Catholic Church (515 University Ave. NE., MPLS)
Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery (4403 Chicago Ave. MPLS)
