Rest in peace Mike.  It was always a pleasure working for you for many years.  You were a great mentor and did many things to help me along the way.  It was always a good time, your great sense of humor, and zest for like was fantastic.

Dear Janet & Joyce ... Please accept my sympathies for the loss of your Dad.  Though I met him only a
few times - those being over 25 years ago - I retain a vivid memory of
an exuberant man who loved life and his family with a passion.  As his only 2 children, you are the sole recipients of the unequaled love a parent has for his children, and that is a gift which is - and will always be - completely unique to just the two of you, and so will never be confused with any other love that may come your way, will never be forgotten, and will always reside just at the periphery of your awareness, always ready to make itself seen and felt front and center whenever current or future events cause you to think of the past.  He is with you - and in you - always, and it is that presence which I hope will provide comfort to you now, and in the future. 
Know that I am thinking of you both, and that I extend my sympathy also
to your mom, Michael, Brian,Katelyin, Kevin, and all of your dad's
extended family whom I never met, but who share equally in this loss.

Dear Janet and Joyce , I just learned of your Dad's passing.  I don't recall if I ever met him but I do know that I remember you two talking of your Dad....I didn't need to meet him to know that he certainly knew that he was loved as I do know that he and your Mom raised two wonderful daughters and I am certain that he was so proud of his entire family.  May you be comforted by your memories and strengthened by the knowledge that so many are thinking of you.

I am sorry for you loss. May the loving memories of your father, husband, grandfather bring you comfort in the days ahead. Know Mike is with you forever, for his spirit will always surround you. He knows what a wonderful job you all did caring for him these last years, he knows how loved he was.

We had the pleasure to meet Michael Mastropolo in March 2007.  He taught us how love and carefulness can be the real foundations of a loving family.

Mr. Mastropolo was a self-made man who succeeded in his work and home life. I have many fond memories growing up as childhood friends of Joyce and Janet with great opportunities provided by this loving father- from introducing me to the organ, playing with fiddler crabs at the beach or playing as corporate assistants on Lords Way. He will be missed by his loving family and friends.
