Mrs. Foti was born August 17, 1932 in Kaplan to the late Arthur Menard, Sr. and the late Estella DuBois Menard, and was one of 16 children. She passed away peacefully on Monday, July 18, 2016 at her residence, with her family at her side.

When not working, she enjoyed working in her yard and gardening, and cooking meals for her family.
She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children, Sam Foti, Jr. and wife Ponny, and Cathy Foti Landry and husband Timmy all of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Ross Foti, Alyssa Foti and Timmy Landry, Jr.; her brother and sisters, Kenneth Menard of Kaplan, Lucille Barras of Catahoula, Nola Menard of Abbeville, and Florine Rockenbough of Patterson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
