Andre’ Paul LaBauve was born on December 12, 1956, in New Iberia, Louisiana, to the late Elmo and Evelyn Claire Derouen LaBauve. He passed away on November 16, 2025, in Miami, Florida, where he had resided for more than forty years.
A proud graduate of Catholic High School in New Iberia, Andre’ was a member of the Class of 1974. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette. Following his education, he began his professional career with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). His career later brought him to Miami, Florida, where he joined Fisher Auction Company.
Andre’ devoted more than thirty years to Fisher Auction Company, where he served with dedication and integrity and ultimately held the position of Chief Financial Officer at the time of his passing. His professionalism, loyalty, and leadership left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends alike.
Above all, Andre’ will be remembered as a generous and caring son, brother, and uncle. He deeply valued his family and maintained close connections with them throughout his life. He had a passion for travel and especially enjoyed cruising, exploring destinations throughout Europe and South America. He took great pride in his beautiful Miami home and meticulously kept yard, where he loved to relax by the pool. His family could always count on his thoughtful phone calls while he enjoyed those peaceful moments.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sisters, Renee’ L. Haney (Phil) and Cindy L. Landry (Ross); one brother, Keith LaBauve (Katie); numerous nieces and nephews and his special friend, Juan Motin.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with Fr. Mario Romero officiating. He will be laid to rest alongside his parents at Nativity of Our Lady Mausoleum.
Visitation will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm with a Rosary at 10:30 am.
