

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 pm at Evangeline Funeral Home on Thursday, March 15, 2018. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Thursday from 10:00 am until service time. Military honors will be preformed by Iberia Veteran Honor Guard at 11:00 am. Internment will take place privately at a later date.
Carl served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was a proud disabled Air Force Veteran. He was an active member of the Veterans of Foreign War, American Legion, and Disabled American Veterans. In his early years, Carl worked as a TV and electronics repairmen and then as a door to door salesmen for the Rosary House. He was a loving and kind man who will be deeply and truly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Carl is survived by his sons, Ronald Jeske and wife Penny and Stephen Jeske and wife Cathy both of New Iberia; siblings, Virginia Harrison of Texas and Walter Jeske of Mississippi; grandchildren, Jaime Jeske, Joe Jeske, and Lexi Emmer Freeze; and great grandchild, Gunner Jeske.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl O. and Maybelle Burdette Jeske; son, John Paul Jeske; granddaughter, Jennifer Elizabeth Jeske; and half-brother, James Patrick Hill.
