Danny, who was known by many as “Monster,” was a native and lifelong resident of New Iberia. Some of his pastimes were listening to old rock and roll, and watching TV, especially wrestling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ella Verrett Dore and Francis D. Dore, Sr.
Survivors include his sister, Patsy Hebert and her husband, Gregory Hebert of New Iberia; his niece and Godchild, Molly McKean of Church Point; and his nephew, Luke Hebert of Austin, Texas.
Memorial funeral services will be announced at a later date with Danny being laid to rest in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
