Johnny Michael Racheau

Johnny Michael Racheau went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 in Abbeville, Louisiana. Johnny was born on October 12, 1951 to Mathilda Vincent Racheau and William Joseph Racheau, Sr. in New Iberia, Louisiana.

Johnny is survived by his mother Mathilda Vincent Racheau; brother, Bill Racheau, Jr. and his wife Mary Ann; two sisters, Christine Racheau and Tammy Racheau Landry and her husband William and two nephews Brandon and Matthew Racheau. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles.

Johnny is preceded in death by his father, William J. Racheau, Sr.; wife, Margaret Mott Racheau; and grandparents, Hermina Tauzin Vincent; Adolph Vincent; Mitchell H. Racheau and Agnes Darby Racheau Langlinais.

Private services were held on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Rev. George Bloomingdale and Bishop Van C. Rousell, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Pallbearers were William Racheau, Jr., William Landry, Bill Kilshaw, Billy Ray Johnson, Wesley Vincent and Mike Boutte.

Memorial donations may be made in Johnny’s name to IBC Hospice Care-27 Iberia Street-Youngsville, LA 70592.
