Kenneth Kenny Wayne Byrom

NEW IBERIA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Byrom, age 52, at 3:00 pm Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with Fr. Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will be at Nativity of Our Lady Mausoleum at a later date.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. The will be a Rosary at 1:00 pm.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Kenny passed away at 9:43pm on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at his residence.

Kenny was an electrician for 35 years and truly enjoyed his job.

He is survived by one daughter, Kennie Rae Byrom of New Iberia; one son, Joshua Wayne Byrom of Lafayette; his parents, John Preston Byrom, Sr. and Kathleen Breaux Byrom of New Iberia; three grandchildren, Hayden Byrom, Riley Byrom and Miles Byrom; two sisters, Theonie B. Smith and husband Tommy and Lori B. Broussard and husband Jonathan and two brothers, Johnny Byrom and wife Beth and Richie Byrom and wife April all of New Iberia.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ernest and Theonie Breaux and paternal grandparents, Everette and Christine Byrom.

Pallbearers will be members of the family.
