His commitment to his faith extended beyond the church, as he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus #7050 and the American Legion.
Kermit’s love for music and dancing brought him great joy, and he and his wife, Donna Rita, shared a passion for the Cajun culture. They were both members of the Cajun French Music Association, where Kermit proudly served as President. Together, they enjoyed dancing and supporting the local music scene, which was a beloved tradition for them.
Known for his generosity, Kermit enjoyed spending time outdoors, cutting grass for his neighbors and helping maintain the grounds of the church. His kindness and willingness to help others were among the many qualities that made him a beloved figure in his community. Above all, Kermit cherished time spent with his family, creating lasting memories and fostering deep bonds with his loved ones.
