Leslie Paul Bonvillain

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Leslie Paul Bonvillain, age 61, at 1:00 pm Monday, December 14, 2015 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Fontenot officiating. Interment will follow at Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am on Monday until service time.

A native of Franklin and resident of Port Allen, Mr. Bonvillain passed away at 5:40 pm on, Thursday, December 10, 2015.

Paul was an avid reader and a sports enthusiast. He was a referee for soft ball games for more than 10 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Madelynn Paige Bonvillain; two sons, Dwayne Patrick Bonvillain and wife Tanya and Matthiew Paul Bonvillain; his father, Leslie M. Bonvillain; one sister, Carl

a Glyn Bonvillain; three brothers, Marcus David Bonvillain and wife Gena; Derek Alan Bonvillain and wife Rita and Kenneth Douglas Bonvillain and wife Jan; and two grandchildren, William Patrick Bonvillain and Jack Matthieu Bonvillain.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Melba Ballard Bonvillain.

Pallbearers will be members of the family. Matthiew Bonvillain and Santo Giordano will serve as honorary pallbearers.
