Born in New Iberia on August 23, 1950, Linda lived a life defined by quiet devotion to the people she loved. She was a kind and simple woman who cared for others more than she cared for herself, and she loved deeply. When her brother needed her, she stepped in as his caretaker without hesitation.
Linda found joy in the simple rhythms of community. Once a month, she gathered with friends for a game of Pokeno, and once a month she met up with her classmates to share stories and laughter. These small traditions meant the world to her, and she meant the world to those who shared them with her. She will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.
Linda is survived by her son, Bradley Roberts and his wife Crystal; her granddaughter, Gabriella Rubio; her brother, Curtis Hulin; and her sister, Laurie Hulin.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ottis Hulin; her mother, Helen Duhon Hulin; and her sisters, Joyce H. Boudreaux and Charlene "Charlie" Hulin.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home of New Iberia, on May 20, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Linda will be laid to rest privately at a later date.
Evangeline Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
