Mona Broussard Latiolais, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at her residence. At her passing she was 50 years old.
Mona was born on December 18, 1971 in New Iberia, LA.
Mona was a member of Our Savior’s Church in Broussard, she enjoyed zydeco music and watching television with her husband.
Most importantly was the love she showed for Jesus and her beloved family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and thoughts of all who knew and loved her. We rejoice in knowing that she is not gone, but has only gone on before us.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, James Latiolais of New Iberia; her daughter, Lauren Latiolais Louviere and husband Austin; one grandson, Cruize Louviere and Baby Louviere expected in March 2023; her mother, Cheryl Hebert and husband Stanley; her father, Larry Broussard and one brother, Chad Broussard and wife Kim.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Whitney and Nilda Hebert and her paternal grandparents, Naulis and Emarite Broussard.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated for Mona at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Evangeline Funeral Home. Pastor Gabe Smith of Our Savior’s Church will officiate.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Visiting hours will resume on Saturday from 8:00 am until the service time.
