Myrtle Hebert Bell

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Thomas S. Bell, Sr., the former Myrtle Hebert, age 86, at 10:00 am Monday, November 17, 2014 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Bullock officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday with a Rosary at 6:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Monday until service time.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Bell passed away at 12:50 pm on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at her residence.

Mrs. Bell was a member of First United Methodist Church; the church Senior Group, the Ladies Exercise Club; Dauterive Hospital Senior Group; Pokeno Group and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Hat Club.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Bell Segura and her husband Blane Segura of Atlanta, GA and one son, Thomas S. “Tommy” Bell, Jr. and his wife Lisa Breaux Bell of New Iberia; six grandchildren, Ashley Bell Davis and her husband Brendon Davis; Nicole Bell; Benjamin Bell; Blair Segura; Brittan Segura and Nick Segura and two great grandchildren; Ella Segura and Charley Segura.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas S. “Tommy” Bell, Sr.; parents, Enice and Angela Delcambre Hebert and one great granddaughter, Julianna Davis.

Pallbearers will be Thomas S. “Tommy” Bell, Jr., Benjamin Bell; Brendon Davis; Blane Segura; Nick Segura and Barry Segura.
