Robert Kenneth Seymour

NEW IBERIA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mr. Robert Kenneth Seymour, age 72, at 2:00 pm Friday, March 1, 2013 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Fr. Eugene Tremie officiating. Interment will be follow at Beau Pre Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until service time on Friday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church.

A native of Gulfport, MS and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Seymour passed away at 11:55 pm on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Dauterive Hospital.

Mr. Seymour was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. He was a kind gentleman who enjoyed remote controlled planes and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Leatrice Seymour of New Iberia; one son, Donald Seymour and wife Angelle of Bay St. Louis, MS; two daughters, Donna Gilliland of Gulfport, MS and Robyn Sand of Mystic, CT; six step children, Lynne Hotard and husband Ted of Lydia; Timothy Romero and wife Sherry; Dianne Landry and husband Bryan and Jonathan Romero all of New Iberia; Ray Smith of Gulfport, MS and Pam Woodcock of Gulfport, MS; two grandchildren; eight step grandchildren and nine step great grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers, Ronald Seymour and wife Sharon of Ocean Springs, MS; Gary Seymour and wife Annette of Gulfport, MS and Tony Seymour and wife Donna of MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Verda Lee Gartman Seymour.

Pallbearers will be family members.
