Una Lopez Maxwell

NEW IBERIA – Funeral services will be held for Una Lopez Maxwell, age 85, at 10:00 am Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Evangeline Funeral Home. Deacon Patrick Burke will officiate. Interment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home on Wednesday from 8:00 am until services.

A native of Coteau and resident of Broussard, Mrs. Maxwell passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Dauterive Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Eldred Allen Maxwell; her children, Harry Hebert and wife Tina and Theresa Aucoin of New Iberia; ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; three sisters, Alicia Bayard and Anna Mae Blanchard both of New Iberia, and Mary Coppell of Avery Island; and her brothers, Preston, Lester and Bob Lopez all of New Iberia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleus and Amelia LeBlanc Lopez; sister, Verla Marusak; a grandchild; and three great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be John, Jake, Ivy and Harry Hebert, Terry Hebert, Russell Aucoin, and George and Jerry Franks.
