NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Wilfred Joseph “Joe” LeBlanc, age 64, at 10:00 am Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Deacon Theo Landry officiating. Interment will be held at Holy Family Mausoleum.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday with a Rosary at 6:30 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Tuesday until service time.
A native of Vermilion Parish and resident of New Iberia, Mr. LeBlanc passed away at 10:00 pm on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at New Iberia Manor North Nursing Home.
Joe was well known in the community, he loved to ride his bike or scooter and go out visiting with his many friends.
He is survived by his brother, Wilbert LeBlanc and his wife Laura of New Iberia; nephew, Menson LeBlanc of New Iberia; great niece, Amber LeBlanc and two great nephews, Austin LeBlanc and Shannon LeBlanc.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Lucille Boudreaux LeBlanc and one nephew, Shannon Troy LeBlanc.
